Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Ultrasound Technologist – Fortuna, CA 95540 Start Date: July 13, 2026 Location: Northern California coastal community Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (08:00 - 16:30). Call coverage includes a couple of nights per week and up to 2 weekends per scheduling period. Float coverage to affiliate facilities may be required. Highlights: 13-week travel assignment in a community healthcare setting Comprehensive ultrasound services including general, vascular, obstetric, and pediatric imaging Epic charting system preferred Work with diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics 40 hours of paid orientation to support your transition Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) Requirements: Active California Ultrasound Technologist license required prior to submission ARDMS and BLS certifications required Minimum 3 years of ultrasound experience required Proficiency in general abdomen, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular ultrasound Epic charting system experience strongly preferred Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years Candidates must reside outside 50-mile local radius Previous travel experience and specialty skills (fetal echo, pediatric, breast, interventional procedures) advantageous Why Join Us?
