What the job is: The Log Loader Operator works in the Operations department to safely and efficiently move and load logs. Tasks for the operator include: Operate a mobile log loader to efficiently and safely move and load logs from decks to trucks for transport to local mills. Sort and stage logs by species, grade, and size to optimize yarding operations and meet manufacturing specifications. Maintain a solid working knowledge of log quality standards and current sorting requirements.
