Job Highlights:This position will:Supervise Economic Development staff, including hiring, goal setting, and professional development. Promote consistent communication, collaboration, and integration across projects and programs. Oversee staff performance, program timelines, and budget adherence. Ensure compliance with county governance structures and processes. Support staff in drafting Board agenda items and preparing presentations for the Board of Supervisors. Provide guidance on identifying and managing grant opportunities, assist with budget development and monitoring, and represent the county at public meetings and events. Assist to define project objectives that align with the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) and the countys Strategic Plan. Identify project interdependencies, manage competing priorities, and coordinate resource allocation across initiatives.
