A company is looking for a Corporate Development Counsel to manage legal aspects of M&A and strategic investment activities.Key ResponsibilitiesStructure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents for acquisitions and investmentsLead and manage the legal due diligence process, coordinating with internal specialistsServe as the primary legal advisor to the Corporate Development team and other business leadersRequired QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active state bar membershipAt least 4 years of relevant legal experience focused on M&AExperience in drafting and negotiating complex transaction agreementsPreferred experience at a law firm in M&A/Corporate practice or in-house at a technology companyStrong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and securities law
