Exciting Opportunity for Radiation Therapist Job Description: - Join a passionate team in Radiation Oncology, providing exceptional care to patients. - Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30). - No block schedules – enjoy a well-structured work-life balance. - Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of experience. - Certifications: BLS, ARRT T. - First-timers are welcomed – this is a great opportunity for growth! - Floating between like units may be required – flexibility appreciated. - Local candidates are accepted; no pending licenses. - RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at the time of submission. - Guaranteed hours with the ability for facility to call off once per two-week pay period. Work Settings: - Adult Acute Care - Adult Outpatient Skills & Expertise: - Preferred Skills: - CBCT/kV/mV imaging - Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) - IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy - Custom Molds & Shields - Treatment Plans and Simulation of Treatment Sites Professional Knowledge and Skills: - Familiarity with Billing for treatment types and devices - Radiation Safety and Isolation Precautions/PPE - Charting System: Epic - Experience with adult and geriatric patient age groups Interdisciplinary Support: - Collaborate with Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams.
