- Salary: $33 to $35 per hour
- Job Type: Full Time
- Location: McKinleyville, CA 95519
As an Automotive Service Technician at BMW of Humboldt Bay, you will service and repair vehicles according to established standards and procedures. You may also perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure that new vehicles meet quality expectations before reaching our customers. Your role is essential in maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality workmanship and professional service.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine service inspections, maintenance jobs, and repair work on vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles throughout service and after repairs
- Ensure all required documentation complies with regulations and company standards
- Help maintain shop appearance, safety standards, and efficiency through duties such as inventory stocking
- Adhere to shop policies, safety procedures, and environmental guidelines
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required
- Complete additional duties assigned by management

Job Requirements: Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Basic computer skills including internet usage
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service orientation
- Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
- Ability to read and understand instructions and technical materials
- Safety-conscious attitude with attention to detail
- Experience preferred but entry level candidates with relevant training are welcome
