Job Details

Primary Responsibilities:
As a Utility Worker, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen environment by maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils. Additionally, you will assist in food preparation to support our culinary team.

Specific Functions and Duties:

1. Scrape and pre-rinse food residues from dirty dishes and load them into the dishwasher.
2. Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand or using commercial dishwashing machinery.
3. Complete all assigned food preparation tasks efficiently.
4. Dispose of trash and garbage in the designated dumpster area.
5. Thoroughly clean work tables, walls, refrigerators, cooking equipment, and floors.
6. Maintain cleanliness of garbage cans and trash receptacles.
7. Assemble, maintain, and dismantle the dishwashing machine.

Qualification Standards:

1. Ability to reach high and low shelves to place dishes and utensils.
2. Capability to use knives and various food preparation equipment safely.
3. Adherence to good personal hygiene practices.
4. Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
5. Ability to work frequently in a hot and humid environment.
6. Must possess or obtain a valid Food Handlers Card before starting employment.
7. Minimum age requirement: 16 years old.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to stand and move at a steady pace for periods lasting up to four hours.
2. Ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively to supervisors and team members.
3. Regularly transport and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
4. Capability to respond quickly in emergency situations to ensure safety.
