Join Our Team as a Kitchen Prep Specialist!

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Kitchen Prep Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our culinary team. Your main responsibility is to complete all assigned prep work efficiently while setting up the cook's station. We prioritize product presentation, quality, food safety, and timely cook times.

Specific Functions and Duties:

1. Follow precise written instructions to prepare menu and prep items.
2. Complete all assigned prep work promptly.
3. Set up your work station according to the given layout.
4. Maintain sanitary and safe food handling practices at all times.
5. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area before, during, and after your shift.
6. Fulfill assigned daily and weekly cleaning tasks.

Qualification Standards:

1. Ability to place plates, utensils, pans, and cases on high and low shelves.
2. Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills are required.
3. Experience using knives, slicing equipment, and other food preparation tools.
4. Exhibit good personal hygiene at all times.
5. Possess and/or obtain a valid Food Handlers Card prior to employment.
6. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to stand and maintain mobility for periods of up to four hours.
2. Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to managers and team members.
3. Regularly transport and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
4. Capable of responding quickly in emergency situations to ensure safety.

Wages:

1. Hourly pay rate is based on experience.
