Join our dedicated team as a full-time Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Specialist at Redwood Memorial Hospital. In this role, you'll work 10-hour day shifts and play a vital part in providing compassionate patient care.

As directed by the Department Director and under the supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, you will perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures across various patient age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. You will also serve as a customer service representative, engaging warmly with patients, their families, and the medical staff. Your expertise will contribute to quality control initiatives and organizational improvements, while you also provide mentorship to less experienced sonographers. Participation in the on-call schedule is essential to maintain quality care.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from a diagnostic ultrasound program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or equivalent educational experience.
• National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, to be obtained upon hire.
• Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association, to be obtained upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working as an ultrasound technologist in a hospital setting.

Work Location: Redwood Memorial Hospital, 3300 Renner Dr, Fortuna, CA

Pay Range: $50.54 - $64.68, with potential for additional compensation through incentives and bonuses.
