As an Automation Architect, you will lead the technical execution of automation initiatives from use case hand-off to deployment. You will be expected to use technology to automate & create efficiencies across front, middle and back-office RCM teams. This is a client-facing role across multiple clients. You'll define bot build strategies, ensure technical feasibility, and resolve blockers to keep delivery on track. This role requires hands-on ownership of solution design, including updating Process Design Documents (PDD), managing change documentation, and reporting progress, risks, and results to leadership. You'll play a key role in daily stand-ups, driving alignment across teams and ensuring automation solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business goals. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) and analysts on the team to translate business processes into automation opportunities
  • Receive current state process use case hand-off from SME
  • Determine technical approach and bot build strategy for future state process
  • Update technical components of the PDD and gain client approval
  • Leverage automation tools to align the bot strategy with the actual build
  • Submit changes via Change Management documents
  • Report progress, risks, and results to leadership
  • Participate in daily stand-ups
  • Ensure technical feasibility and resolve blockers

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in automation strategy and solution design, with a solid understanding of end-to-end process automation across diverse business functions
  • 4+ years of hands-on development experience, with proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in automation environments (e.g., Python, JavaScript, .NET), with 2+ years of hands-on development experience
  • 4+ years of bot development experience using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate, and a portfolio of five deployed automation solutions
  • 4+ years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, design specifications, and deployment guides, for at least five automation projects
  • 3+ years of experience presenting progress, risks, and results to leadership and participating in daily stand-ups within cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve technical blockers, ensure feasibility, and manage change requests through formal documentation, with experience supporting agile delivery across multiple concurrent projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a track record of designing scalable, resilient automation solutions that address complex business challenges
  • Experience in healthcare environments or healthcare-specific automation, ideally focused on revenue cycle operations such as claims processing, prior authorization, and patient access workflows
  • Familiarity with major healthcare systems like Epic or Cerner
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and interoperability standards including HIPAA and HL7

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
