Job Description:
As a PeopleSoft HCM Functional/Technical Consultant, you will work closely with the PeopleSoft Development and Human Resources teams to implement the Absence Management module and integrate it with the existing Payroll system. This role requires a strong understanding of PeopleSoft HCM modules and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions while providing ongoing support and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead implementation of PeopleSoft 9.2 Absence Management with Payroll integration
• Design, develop, and support application solutions to meet client requirements
• Analyze and design functional/technical solutions for PeopleSoft enhancements
• Translate end-user requirements into PeopleSoft configurations and identify customizations
• Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to deliver effective solutions
• Provide technical support in design, development, testing, and deployment
• Implement change requests per change management policies
• Review and recommend improvements to current PeopleSoft processes
• Coordinate with Project Manager to develop project plans and resource needs
• Maintain project technical documentation for management review
• Provide production support and resolve problem tickets promptly
• Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing user support
• Work with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with business needs
• Document and retest defects identified during testing
• Assist the PeopleSoft development team with overall process guidance

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
• 5+ years of experience implementing PeopleSoft Absence Management and Payroll
• Strong understanding of Fluid user interfaces for PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM modules
• In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM functionalities
• Experience with SQL scripting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detailed documentation and issue reporting skills
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize defects based on business requirements
• State/Local Government experience highly desired

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
