Construction Foreman

Our client is looking for a competent Construction Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. As the point of reference for both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. Aconstruction foreman has a solid background in the field.
Responsibilities

• The position of foreman consists of coordinating tasks and assignments based on work priority, schedules, objectives, and workforce availability
• The foreman assigns duties and is responsible for monitoring the progress of a project and keeping it on track from a time and budgetary standpoint
• You write daily reports, take photographs, and report project statuses
• You oversee framing, roofing, HVAC work, electrical work, plumbing, concrete work, finish carpentry, and more
• Perform quality control testing and troubleshooting

Key requirements:

• Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in a related position
• Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge helpful
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
• Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate and report effectively
• Problem-solving abilities
• Diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.)
