This is an International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1245 represented classification, which has over 100 years of experience representing employees at PG&E. This job is subject to collective bargaining. Performs general instrument, controls and electrical maintenance (I,C&E) to include, but not limited to the wiring and disconnection of motors; replacement of thermocouples and fuses; pulling wire and performing electrical checks. Troubleshoot electrical process systems. Repair and configure process transmitters, controllers, VF - Ds etc. Reads and interprets mechanical flow diagrams, P&IDs, and electrical single-line and wiring diagrams. Read and interprets hydraulic systems. Assists staff with the ordering of parts and inventory control. Sponsor contractors and submit purchase requisitions in SAP for materials and services.
