Job Summary

Help be a part of the foundation of learning by working behind the scenes as a Food Service Worker for Eureka City Schools. The Food Service Worker position is 6 hrs/day, 5 days/wk. Scheduled work days closely follow the school year instructional calendar, including holidays and breaks.

Start Date: ASAP
Daily start and end times may change based on the needs of the program and the school schedule.

Requirements / Qualifications

Food Service Safety Manager Certificate (Acquired within first 6 months of employment.)
Valid California Driver's License
DOJ/FBI Fingerprint Clearance (completed upon job offer)
CPR/First Aid Certificate (Completed within first 6 months of employment.)
CPI Training (Completed within first 6 months of employment.)

Current Eureka City Schools regular employees who wish to LATERAL TRANSFER from their current position must email a transfer request to the Personnel Office by the
deadline date. (Please refer to your CSEA contract for Lateral Transfer language). Probationary employees are not eligible for lateral transfer but may apply as a general applicant. All general applicants must submit edjoin.org application.
